Yesterday (June 18, 2011) reality star Bethany Frankel was in town to promote her new line of “Skinny Girl” cocktails. There was a tasting & bottle signing at the BC Liquor Store on Bute & Alberni, yip, you heard right, she was signing the bottles. The line-up was HUGE! It went out the door and down the block. At the risk of sounding diva-ish, I just don’t do line-ups. So I simply picked-up a bottle to share with a friend. We signed our bottle in what we figured may pass for Frankel’s signature and conducted our own tasting.
The verdict: It was a little too skinny for us. But once we added some tequila, triple sec, salt and a healthy squeeze of lime it was just right!
